- GlucaGen® is used to treat severe hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) reactions which may occasionally occur in patients with diabetes
- The GlucaGen® package may be stored up to 24 months at controlled room temperature 20 to 25 Degrees C (68 to 77 Degrees F) prior to reconstitution
- Reconstituted GlucaGen® should be used immediately
- Kit includes: one vial of 1 mg GlucaGen®, one prefilled disposable syringe with attached needle containing 1 mL Sterile Water for Reconstitution
- The vial has a protective plastic cap which must be removed to inject the water and reconstitute the freeze-dried GlucaGen®

- Glucagon Emergency Kit for Low Blood Sugar (Glucagon for Injection) contains: 1 mg glucagon for injection (as a sterile, lyophilized white to off-white powder) in a single-dose vial and 1 mL of diluent for glucagon in a prefilled syringe

- Glucagon for injection increases blood glucose concentration and is used in the treatment of hypoglycemia
- One carton containing 1 mg of Glucagon for Injection and one 1 mL of Sterile Water for Injection
- Also used as a diagnostic aid during radiologic examinations

- GVOKE is a prescription medicine used to treat very low blood sugar (severe hypoglycemia) in adults and kids with diabetes ages 1 years and above
- It is not known if GVOKE is safe and effective in children under 2 years of age
